FIRES ON THE NORTH SHORE OF LAKE TAHOE: ANGORA FIRE UPDATE
Luckily, the fires on South
Lake Tahoe have not affected us here on the North Shore. The wind
is blowing the smoke in the opposite direction and Squaw Valley
is clear as usual. We wish our friends on the South Shore well
and hope they are coping with all the devastation and destruction
as best they can. If you would like to help or make a
donation, please contact the American Red Cross at (916) 368-3131.
It would truly be appreciated! Please note that the fireworks
in Squaw Valley have been cancelled..previously scheduled for
July 3rd due to high fire hazards. Fireworks will still be happening
over Lake Tahoe on the 4th of July, along with other nearby locations.
